Pray for Rain!

Just heard from the folks over where I'm going this summer and they are have the dryest year in over 30 years in that area. Being dry would not normally be a bad thing, since the rainy season can get old quick, but the dry weather is effecting the work among the people group we're targeting. Because most of these people are farmers, they rely on the rain to water their fields and nurish their crops. These crops are their main source of food and income. Already several trainings have had to be canceled, because these farmers are having to haul in water from long distances to ensure there crops are watered.

Please ask our Soverign Lord, who "sends rains on the just and on the unjust" (Matt 5:45) to meet the needs of these poor farmers and in His grace, to shower His love and mercy on them. Ask that in the giving of rain and the provision of all their needs, that they would see that all things come from the hand of the loving, all-powerful God of heaven and earth. Pray that trainings would be able to resume quickly so that the Word of God may also grow in the hearts of the believers and that very soon new chuch plants among this people group would spring-up in everyone of their villages.
